The Monkey's Box (themonkeysbox.com) is operated by Garnet Grid Consulting LLC. We build complete, private AI systems, so this policy covers both the website and what an inquiry or a purchase tells us about you.

What We Collect

Your Email Address and What You Tell Us

If you submit an inquiry or ask for updates, we receive the email address you type and whatever you choose to write in the message. Inquiries about a custom build often include what you want the machine to do; that is the information we need in order to quote, and we use it for that. We do not need, and would rather not receive, anything confidential in a first message.

The Fit Calculator

The fit calculator runs in your browser. The figures you enter to size a machine are not sent to us and are not stored anywhere but your own browser session.

Purchases

The Build Blueprint is bought through Stripe. Stripe receives your payment details; we do not, and we never store card numbers. We receive the email address needed to deliver the download and a record that the purchase happened, so we can re-deliver it if needed.

Automatically Collected Information

This site shows advertising through Google AdSense, which uses cookies and device identifiers to select ads. Cloudflare serves the site and keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested path) for security and abuse prevention.

Custom Builds and Private Handover

A custom build involves more contact than a download: correspondence about requirements, and arrangements for delivery or handover. We keep that correspondence for as long as needed to carry out the build and to support it afterwards. We do not publish customer names, specifications, or photographs of a delivered system. Access is by private handover, and it stays private.

Advertising and Google AdSense

Google AdSense uses cookies and device identifiers to serve ads, including ads based on your previous visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings or at aboutads.info.

Data Retention

Fit-calculator figures are never collected. Email addresses are kept until you ask us to remove them. Purchase and build records are kept as long as required for tax, accounting, and warranty purposes.

Children

This site sells computing hardware and technical material to adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Security

Traffic to The Monkey's Box is served over HTTPS. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we limit what we collect in the first place.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The revised version is posted at this URL with a new effective date. Material changes are announced on the site, and by email where we hold an address for you. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept it.
